Baby Supplies
We host an annual community-wide baby shower at the end of May. During this baby shower, we give out the essential items to help a family embrace these early years. Baby items should be NEW or GENTLY USED. This is a great opportunity for people to donate items that are quickly outgrown. This lists a few items we accept:
Diapers / Wipes
Bottles / Sippy Cups / Dinnerware Sets
Clothes up to 24 months
Carseats / Strollers
High Chairs
Bouncers / Swings / Tummy Time Mats / Toys
Hygiene Kits
Hygiene Kits are great resources for members of our community! The items below are packed within a gallon size bag. This bag can easily be transported by the displaced members of our community. The first aid kit is packed inside a snack size baggie.
Toothbrush with cover / Toothpaste
Bar Soap
Flushable Wipes (These are biodegradable, non-flushable wipes are not)
Deodorant (Full size)
Brush (Women)/ Comb (Men)
Nail Clippers
Chapstick
Thick Socks (2 pair)
First Aid Bag: Bandaids, Gauze, Neosporin (small tube), and 10 q-tips
Menstruation Kit: Sanitary Napkin / Tampons
Hair Elastics
Personalized Card - Blank note cards that allow the person receiving the kit to be seen. Feel free to include your own messages. Our cards include the following message:
“Dear Friend,
We hope this card finds you in good health. Know that we have seen you and are working with our community to help meet your basic needs. You are in our prayers!
With Love & Care,
Your Friends at Well House of Hope”
Consider using higher quality gallon bags as these will be transported in back packs, thin plastic shopping bags, etc and may take a beating as they’re hauled all over the place. The snack size bags do not need to be of high quality as they are stored inside the gallon bag.
